PHENOMIN charges €1740 EX VAT for frozen material and €3880 EX VAT for live mice. These service fees enable PHENOMIN to recover costs and to maintain a sustainable distribution service. In addition to these fees customers have to cover all the shipping costs.
The default archival and distribution material is heterozygous material.
Frozen material or live mice that are maintained on shelf can be shipped within four weeks. Rederivation of mice from frozen stock usually takes four to six months.
In general, service requests will not be processed until a fully executed MTA has been received and a purchase order has been provided by the customer. More details on the restrictions, on PI and on the distribution is available upon request (). Therefore please note that the delivery times given above represent the time period between the date when all paperwork is in place and the date of shipment.
The frozen material provided will be sufficient for two IVF or embryo transfer sessions. For embryos, an additional straw with wild-type C57BL6/N embryos is included for Quality Control & transfer training purposes.
If live mice are ordered, PHENOMIN will ship 3-4 mice. PHENOMIN can offer breeding services to e.g. generate cohorts of homozygous mutants. A quote for such a service is available upon request.
